Hi @Raushan12,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble with your laptop. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot the issue:
1. Perform a Hard Reset
- Disconnect all power sources:
- Unplug the charger and remove the battery (if removable).
- Press and hold the power button:
- Hold it for about 15-20 seconds to drain any residual power.
- Reconnect power:
- Reinsert the battery and plug the charger back in.
- Try to power on the laptop again.
2. Check the Power Indicator
- If the power light isn’t showing, try connecting to a different power outlet or using a different charger if available.
3. Boot into Safe Mode
- Attempt to power on:
- If you can turn it on, repeatedly press F8 or Shift + F8 during startup to access the recovery options.
- Select Safe Mode:
- If successful, select "Safe Mode" to see if the laptop starts without issues.
4. Remove External Devices
- Disconnect any peripherals (USB drives, external monitors, etc.) and try to power on the laptop again.
5. Inspect the Battery and Charger
- If the laptop charges but doesn’t power on, the battery might be faulty or the charger might not be delivering enough power.
6. Check for Overheating
- If the laptop is hot to the touch, let it cool down for a while before trying to turn it on again.
7. Boot from a Recovery USB
If you have a Windows recovery USB:
- Insert the USB:
- Connect the USB drive and power on the laptop.
- Boot from USB:
- Access the boot menu (usually by pressing F9, F12, or Esc during startup) and select the USB drive to attempt recovery options.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
