I'm no longer able to import photos or videos from my iPhone (5) to my Pavilion Notebook (Product number: N7K30EA#ABU). Last successfully did so approx 2 weeks ago. Notebook autoplay settings for my iPhone are (still) set to 'Import photos and videos', though tried adjusting & resetting; and updated to latest version of iOS on iPhone, all to no avail. Have installed all Notebook updates except Intel Bluetooth driver, and Intel Dynamic Platform and Thermal Framework Client Driver, but can't see they'd make any difference since both were available months prior to my last successful photo import. However I just successfully backed up my iPhone (via iTunes) on my Notebook. Just the photos I can't seem to import. I'd be grateful for any help

Greetings @MELISSA51,
Welcome to HP Forums and Thanks for the post.
I understand that you are unable to transfer photos from your Android photo to your HP notebook. Don't worry, I will be glad to help.
Have you tried any troubleshooting steps on your own?
May I know which phone are you using?
To be able to transfer any data from your Android phone, please make sure that the file transfer mode is enabled on your phone.
Please follow the procedure mentioned below.
Turn the computer ON, once you have logged in on your computer.
Unlock your phone.
Connect your phone to your computer.
You will get a prompt on your phone to enable file tranfer.
Please enable it.
If you don't get the pop up.
Swipe the phone from the top, to get see the notification or prompt to enable file transfer.
Once you enable file tranfer, you can open file explorer on your computer and see the contents of your phone.
If you do not enable file transfer, you will not be able to transfer files from your phone.
If the issue persists, please open device manager by doing a right-click on the Windows button.
Check for unknown devices and right-click on them to find drivers.
Let me know if this helped.

Hi Welcome to the HP Forums @Pete291016,
I understand that you are having issues importing the photos or videos from your iPhone to the computer. Kudos to you for having done a lot of troubleshooting and I will assist you from here.
Please try the steps below:
First, unlock the iPhone.
Connect the cable to the phone and the computer.
You will be prompted to trust the computer. Please click on trust on the iPhone
Now open file explorer on the computer and select "Computer" on the left side.
Your iPhone will be listed along with the hard drive of your computer.
Right-click on the iPhone icon and you should have the option to import the photos and videos from the iPhone.
Let me know if this procedure works for you or if you need any further assistance. Glad to help.
Have a wonderful day.

I am trying to import photos from my andriod to the HP laptop. I have had no problem doing this in the past. Today, the message is "Can't find anything to import" although there are 160 photos available. What is the issue? Thnx
