I have two questions.

First is how do I know if my pavillion dv4t-1600 is Windows 7 ultmate-32 bit or 64bit.

Second is: Is Avast compatible with the notebook?

Hi:

 

You can find what bit version of W7 that is installed, by going to the windows control panel>system & security>system.

 

Under the system section of the window, next to the system type: is the bit version of the operating system.

 

Avast antivirus is supported for W7.  Check the system requirements at the bottom of the page.
