HELLO,

THE BACKLIT KEYBOARD IN MY LAPTOP USED TO BE ACTIVATED BY THE F5 KEY. BUT NOW IT IS NOT WORKING.

IT IS PROBABLY BECAUSE OF AN GLITCHY UPDATE WHICH I CANNOT INSTALL----<<Hewlett-Packard Development Company, LP. - Keyboard - Standard 10102-Key or Microsoft Natural PS/2 Keyboard for HP Hotkey Support>>

WHENEVER I INSTALL THE UPDATE, IT APPEARS IN THE UPDATE HISTORY BUT AT THE NEXT MOMENT IT AGAIN REAPPEARS IN THE VIEW OPTIONAL UPDATES>DRIVER UPDATES. THIS HAPPENS AGAIN AND AGAIN.HELP ME OUT.

PLEASE NOTE ALSO:

I TRIED UNINSTALLING THE DRIVERS AND RESTARTING THE LAPTOP BUT IT DID NOT WORK. I ALSO TRIED USING THE USELESS HP SUPPORT ASSISTANT APP. AS I SAID IT IS ACTUALLY USELESS.

I FACTORY RESET MY COMPUTER TWICE. I HAD TO LOSE ALL MY DATA AND REINSTALL WINDOWS AND SET IT UP AGAIN. I DID IT ACCORDING TO THE ADVICE OF THE IGNORANT HP STAFF AT THE SERVICE CENTRE. AND WHEN IT DIDNT WORK THEY DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO. I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED AT HOW THE UNSKILLED STAFF BECAUSE OF WHOM I LOST ALL MY DATA.

I EVEN POSTED THIS PREVIOUSLY BUT SOME ONE NAMED @Riddle_Decipher WHO CLAIMS TO BE A VERIFIED AGENT JUST POSTED SOME USELESS THINGS.

ANY WAYS I TRIED ALL POSSIBLE METHODS BUT NONE OF THE METHODS WORK.VERY DISAPPOINTED IN HP.PLEASE SOMEHOW HELP ME.
