When I visit https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-pavilion-17-g100-notebook-pc-series/8499304/mode... looking for software and drivers for my HP Pavilion Notebook - 17-g121wm (ENERGY STAR), I see a massage stating that none are available. I need to download the latest HP Notebook System BIOS Update (AMD Processors): F.54 Rev.A 10.3 MB Dec 16, 2019.
I am stuck in an automatic repair loop. I read here in response to a related question that updating the BIOS might help. Many thanks to all who reply.

Before you update the BIOS, see if going into the BIOS setup utility and change the TPM setting to hidden/disabled.
That may fix the automatic repair loop problem.
Below are the info and exe file links to the latest BIOS update HP has for your notebook:

Many thanks for your reply.
My computer is in the repair shop. They are telling me that the reason for the automatic repair loop is a bad CPU. Computer cycles on and off (displays HP logo, followed by "Preparing automatic repair", then reboots). Before your reply, they had already removed my hard drive (said it has bad sectors), and recovered my data.
They told me that they did not reinstall my hard drive before (or after) following your directions and updating the BIOS. Instead, they used different drives loaded with Linux, Windows 7, 10 and 11, but the computer would not load any of the operating systems.
Any thoughts on where to go from here?

You're very welcome.
Sorry that updating the BIOS and hiding the TPM security device in the BIOS didn't resolve the problem.
Unfortunately, I don't have any other suggestions for you to try.
This is the discussion where another forum member suggested to hide the TPM security device in the BIOS:
Solved: have acpi bios error - HP Support Community - 9426518
Another forum member said this worked for them:
Boot into bios go to the boot options menu, disable secure boot, clear secure keys and then load hp default keys.
