DV9000 - RL015AV
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

I need the most recent BIOS file for a DV9000, product number RL015AV.

I wasn't able to find it on the HP website...

Thanks!

You're very welcome.

Here is the last BIOS update release for your platform.

Info:

ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp48001-48500/sp48125.html

Exe File:

ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp48001-48500/sp48125.exe

Now, this is very important!!!

You can only update the BIOS using XP or Vista.

If you try to update the BIOS when running W7, I don't know of anyone on this forum with a dv9000 AMD notebook that has not bricked it when they updated the BIOS.

Do not attempt to update the BIOS unless you can install XP or Vista.

Paul,

Thanks for the file and the note about reverting back to XP or Vista to install it.

I have another HDD and Vista so I will install it just to update the bios to the latest.

Thank you for your support!

Glad it won't be too big of a problem for you to update the BIOS.
