Microsoft Windows 10 in S Mode

Hello, I did something stupid without realizing. I am a complete stranger to software or hardware situations. During a BIOS update you are not to shutdown your computer so while this was installing I looked up on the internet what a BIOS update was to see if it was legit and I read only up to a little bit where it said that  "it could  be dangerous" so guess what I did I shut it down while it was almost halfway and now a page comes up with a 15 second countdown with a message reading "The system Bios recovery failed unable to open bios signature file with a unavailable button option saying continue startup I tried window+v and window+b

ESC

F10

F11

Tried a manual reboot and nothing works it keeps restarting with the same message

Please help!!!!!

I don't have a second computer  is there any alternative to the USB fix

Hi
Hopefully one of these documents will cover (and solve) your problem...
https://support.hp.com/ca-en/document/c00042629
https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c02693833

There is hopefully a backup copy that is usable.

If in doubt please ask.

Hi

You don't copy the BIOS file download onto your USB.

You DOWNLOAD it onto the 2nd PC, and run it from there.

See the attachment...

On the first run you make a copy onto the HARD DISK.

Then re-run the download or Insyde Flash and make a USB from that point on.

The BIOS is suitable for Main Board SSID;s  080CB AND 08137
