Model HP Spectre x360 13-w0XX
SKU X7v20UA#ABA
Processor i7-7500
current : bios American Megatrend f.04,9/26/2016
HP Support Assistance - List six updates...installed 5 of the 6 updates...Pending the Final update being its a BIOS update
No details are given as to the bendfits of grading the BIOS ?
Searched HP support can not find any details on : softpaq number: SP78452 ?
Searched HP support can not find any details on : Version to F.11Ap1 ?
Find it strange when searching HP, HP does not have any details on SP78452 or F.11Ap1...
Should I update the BIOS ? if so why ?
What are the benefits of updating the BIOS ?

Superb troubleshooting. Commendable diagnosis of the issue before posting. Kudos to you for that. 🙂 It is always a genuine pleasure to work with customers that display such a degree of technical expertise. You are a valued HP customer. It is a pleasure to serve you. 🙂
The normal benefit of updating the bios would be to assist the motherboard firmware to recognize the latest external peripheral devices and to provide better support to the operating system to recognize these devices and install them.
The bios in question helps in this manner.
Fix and enhancements:
Benefit - Fixes an intermittent issue which causes the system to respond slower than expected after the system is restarted.
Please visit this link http://hp.com/drivers Then select the country and enter the complete model# of the unit. It is always recommended to update the bios.
Then please select the bios in question and click on the details tab and it will provide the information relevant to the bios and its fixes.
