HP EliteBook 840 G5 Notebook PC

I have installed a new version of the BIOS following the HP update. Is it possible to know the content of the update, what is new (it used to be possible in the past)?

Thank you

Hi:

I don't know what BIOS update you installed but if you install the ones from the support page, they tell you what the BIOS update does, and you can read the revision history notes for all of the previous updates as well.

Now, if you installed a BIOS update that was recently pushed from Windows Update, it has been my experience that they show up on the support page a couple of weeks later for some reason.

Thank you Paul. Yes, I have installed the latest bios from WU, it is 01.26.00 Rev.A, which seems to be not present yet in HP support page. So I take it that going to the HP support page in a couple of weeks I should find this 01.26.00 Rev.A with its history, but not install it as I already have.

You're very welcome, Giovanni.

That is correct.

I'd check back to the support page in a couple of weeks and the v1.26.00 update should be there with all of the information pertaining to it.

Great! Thanks again Paul
