Here is the latest BIOS update for the HP Spectre x360 - 15-ch011dx
Assuming the Windows is Windows 10, then that should work, but it seems odd the Windows would make that request unless you are moving to Windows 11 upgrade.
Please explain in more detail.

Oh my god. thank you so much. It worked!!! I was in a chat room with a Microsoft support tech last night for hours. My computer wouldn't even let me upload Quick Assist for that the tech could take over my computer. All because of this prompt to upgrade the BIOS system. The tech eventually sent me a link to upload a Windows tool, thinking that would do it, so we hung up. But no didn't work. Then I went back to the chat room until they gave up and said I needed to contact Hp. However, there's no live chat and it looked like my only option was to take my laptop to Best Buy. I didn't want to do that. I need my computer for work.
Anyway, the upgrade did it. This all started when Adobe Cloud wouldn't let me upload Adobe Fresco. That prompt had come up to contact the manufacturer for an upgrade on the BIOS system. Well, I"m all set now. Thank you again. You saved me a expense and valuable time.
