HP ENVY X360 Laptop
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I've used the HP Support app to update and fix things with my laptop. The status for my battery says "The battery is functioning correctly, but it needs to be calibrated. You will experience shorter battery life between charges if the battery is not calibrated". I've attempted to calibrate it but it still says the same thing. I've attempted through the support app, the diagnostics app, and the F2 way. Does my battery need replacement? laptop.jpg20190709_212731.jpg

@MoeHamka

Thank you for joining the HP Community

Appreciate all your efforts!

Let's update the BIOS using this link: https://support.hp.com/in-en/drivers

Then, I suggest you Run a Battery test from the F2.

1. Turn on the computer.

2. Immediately press the f2 key repeatedly, about once every second, until the UEFI menu opens.

When the UEFI menu opens, select the diagnostic test you want to run, and then follow the on-screen instructions.

Refer to this document: https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c04700771 for Testing and Calibrating the Battery

Keep me posted, how it goes!

If the information I've provided was helpful, give us some reinforcement by clicking the Accepted Solution and Kudos buttons, that'll help us and others see that we've got the answers!

Have a great day!

Cheers:)
