Yes, it's still in Waranty, it's only a couple of months old.

Contact HP and arrange for warranty service. You have done everything that you can do. Let the Customer Service Engineer know that you came to the forum and tried all that was suggested. I posed an internal query about improving the battery\charging troubleshooting documents for this type of tablet\ultrabook.

 

It is better to take care of the issue while in warranty.

I have the same issue, my product is HP ENVY x2 11-g000, the URL in your post is broken, is there a solution for this problem? I see the post is old and hope there is a solution.
