Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

When i plug in the chager when the laptop is powered on, its not chanrging, The led indicator glows in white. But when i plugin the chanrger when the laptop is powered offm, the led indicator is orange and its charging. 
So now i have to turnoff the laptop to charge it.
