I would like to stop my laptop from charging over 80% as it stays plugged in 99% of the time. My ASUS had a power mode that would do this. So far, the HP Battery Optimization goes to 100% no matter which settings I use. It is well known, it will increase the battery life and potential battery swelling issues if not fully charged. Also the fact that the batteries are not easily accessible anymore, makes a huge difference to me.
