HP Pavilion Gaming - 17-cd0024na

I have run the calibration tool three times now and it is refusing to validate the results - it just keeps telling me that calibration is needed. It is fully charged and has been on for five hours now, so that isn't the issue.

I can't afford to send this off and I definitely cannot afford a replacement battery, the laptop is less than a year old and I shouldn't be experiencing this.

Hello,

Install the HP UEFI HW diagnostics component version 10.3.0 >> https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp150501-151000/sp150582.exe

Install on a local UEFI partition.

Check this HP video on YouTube >> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wgsLomzvr5E

Please, check the HP Support article and try the UEFI option battery calibration

If the above still did not help, try this Windows option to calibrate the battery using "Windows methods" >>

Hope this helps !
