Most of the tests you are suggesting are already done by me. And there is nothing called "Component Test" in System Diagnostic. All you need to do is to tell me how I can reset or erase all data on EEPROM Chip in the battery BMS . My Battery model is HS04. If you can't tell me, stop replying and Shut Up...

Hi friend, one solution worked for me. I short circuited the temperature sensor terminals i.e. thermistor terminals. I had doubts but to my surprise it actually reset the battery. Now my battery flawlessly charges to 100%, like a new battery.

Hi i have a one month old envy 13t, and it just stops charging after 90%. I have done all the steps with hp chat support. They however could not determine the problem and ask me to send for factory repair. I bought the 3year risk free care pack and sending it for repair would invalidate it. I take great care of my laptop and its only one month old. Is there anything to be done? Its a little unfair to invalidate my risk free care pack if it is something common with the hp product line. Thank you
