Dear HP,
Good day!
I have the following two questions:
- New "HP Pavilion - 14-bf100nx (2PP14EA)" how many hours should i charge first time?
- In regular routine, which is the best way to maintain a li-ion battery. Use laptop(Above mentioned model) without unplugging it from charger, or unplug the charger after full recharge and then when fully discharged (when battery icon gets red) to plug it back again and like this to do cycles. How should I maintain my battery so its life is max?
Looking forward to prompt response
Best regards,
Eng. Faisal

Congratulations on getting a new HP Pavilion - 14-bf100nx laptop. I understand that you have a few questions about the battery and I'll be glad to answer them for you.
1. It might take upto two hours for the battery to charge fully.
2. It is a good practice to use the charger. In cases when you need to take your laptop away from the charging point that is when you may let the laptop run on the battery power.
Secondly, I came across this HP document which explains in detail the tips for conserving notebook battery capacity and improving its performance.
I sincerely hope this information helps. Feel free to keep me posted for any further questions. Take care! 🙂
