Biometric device does not appear in device manager.

I've a Elitebook 840 G1 and my fingerprint sensor doesn't work. In device manager, I don't find 'Biometric device' even after installing 'Fingerprint Validity Sensor'.
Note: My Fingerprint sensor is plain, silver colour and not swell like common black fingerprint sensors.

I installed this software 2 days ago from your source by matching my laptop's serial id but not worked. Today I again install the software but it isn't still working. I mentioned that my Fingerprint Sensor isn't common. It is not swell and black, it is silver and plain.

I also have the HP Elitebook 840 G1 running  Winodws 10 where there is no Biometric device showing in Device Manager - see images 

I also installed Synaptic Synaptics WBF Fingerprint Driver SP81058.exe downloaded from HP Support site -  did not work still no Biometric device showing

Any help appriciated

Hi, I though your version does not support fingerprint. Fingerprint not install, so a cover has placed right on fingerprint position

i also have an hp elitebook 820 g1 wich does not show biometrics in the device manager, i have tryed installing the driver from the hp.com official site but to know avail, any one who so far had any luck?

owk thanks what about sim card my g1 also does not show the cellular icon
