Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

Unable to locate an update bios for my laptop for win11, because it is not supported by HP. All they have is win7.Does anyone know of another site that may have an update.  I am currently running the original, which is very limited.

What you want doesn't exist.

 

The only suggestion I can offer would be to use the W8.1 BIOS update and use the method to create a bootable USB flash drive to update the BIOS outside of Windows.

 

HP EliteBook 8760w Base Model Mobile Workstation Software and Driver Details

 

This package creates files that contain an image of the System BIOS (ROM) for the supported notebook models with a 68SAD family ROM. This package is used to flash the System ROM on a supported notebook.

This package includes several methods for updating the BIOS version as follows:

- Use the HPQFlash Utility to update the BIOS directly in a Microsoft Windows Operating System environment.
- Create a bootable USB Key to update the system BIOS.

 

When you run the file, a window will open and give you the options to:

 

-Initiate BIOS update on this system

-Create USB Bootable disk on key.
