Hello!
I have since months a problem with the Windows Creator Update. It basically downloads and after failed installation I am asked to delete/update my currrent Bios. Browsing I already know that I should be able to find a updated Bios on the HP websites, due was hoping that at some point I would be able to get an update through the HP asisstant (since I am not an expert and the BIOs is kind of a sensitive matter).
Anyways here's my question: I want to be sure that I download and install the right one, can you help me please?
Mu copmuer is: HP Pavilion Notebook, product number V4N32EA#ABZ, current Bios: American Megatrends Inc. F.19 27/05/2016, processor: AMD A10 Extreme Edition Radeon R8 4C+8G ..
I appreciate your help and wish you all a happy New Year.

Hi
I believe this is your Notebook, and the only BIOS available is below. NB: You can delete the serial number from your post please.
Type: BIOS Version: F.45 Rev.A
Operating systems: Windows 10 (64-bit)
Release date: May 17, 2017
File name: sp80252.exe (9.4 MB)
Obviously a fully charged battery, and connected to the Mains supply. Backup data etc as a precaution.
If in doubt please ask.

Welcome to the forum! Happy Holidays to you and yours.
Your notebook is an HP Pavilion 15-ab113nl
Download and install the Latest version (8.2.8.25 Rev.A with Release date: Feb 17, 2016) of the HP Support Assistant from the following link. http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp74501-75000/sp74656.exe
Run the HP Support Assistant. It should let you know that there is an available BIOS and help you easily install it. Make sure that you have the power adapter connected. Do not power down the notebook during the BIOS update. Since you have a recent generation notebook with UEFI BIOS, there is little risk to installing a BIOS.
