Hi @Sacettin,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

It sounds like there may be a recurring issue with your laptop's display. Here are a few troubleshooting steps you can try.

  • Restart the Laptop: Sometimes a simple restart can resolve temporary glitches. Press and hold the power button until the laptop shuts down completely, then press it again to turn it back on.
  • Check Display Connections: Ensure that all cables connecting the display to the laptop are securely plugged in. If you're using an external monitor, make sure it's powered on and properly connected to the laptop.
  • External Monitor: If you have access to an external monitor, connect your laptop to it to see if you get any display. If the external monitor works fine, the issue may be with your laptop's display or its connections.
  • Boot into Safe Mode: Restart your laptop and boot into Safe Mode. Safe Mode loads only essential drivers and services, which can help determine if a third-party application or driver is causing the issue.
  • Update Graphics Drivers: Outdated or corrupt graphics drivers can cause display issues. Go to the HP website or use Windows Update to ensure your graphics drivers are up to date.
  • Check for Windows Updates: Sometimes, Windows updates can resolve compatibility issues or bugs causing display problems. Make sure your laptop is up to date with the latest Windows updates.
  • Run Hardware Diagnostics: Most laptops come with built-in hardware diagnostics tools. Check your laptop's user manual to see how to access these diagnostics and run tests on your display and other hardware components.
  • Reset BIOS/UEFI Settings: Resetting your laptop's BIOS/UEFI settings to default may help resolve hardware configuration issues causing the black screen.

If none of these steps resolves the issue, it's possible there's a hardware problem with your laptop's display or other internal components.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
