Hi @Angshuuu,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
It seems like your HP Notebook is encountering a display issue where the screen remains black with the WiFi logo blinking. This could be caused by various factors, including hardware or software issues. Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try.
- Restart the Laptop: Sometimes, a simple restart can resolve temporary glitches. Try restarting your laptop and see if the issue persists.
- Check Power Connection: Ensure that your laptop is properly connected to a power source and the battery is charged. Sometimes, a low battery or power fluctuations can cause display issues.
- External Monitor: Connect your laptop to an external monitor or TV using an HDMI cable to see if the display appears on the external screen. If it does, the issue might be with your laptop's display or its connection to the motherboard.
- Boot into Safe Mode: Boot your laptop into Safe Mode by pressing F8 or Shift + F8 during startup. If the display works fine in Safe Mode, it indicates that a third-party software or driver might be causing the issue.
- Update Graphics Drivers: Outdated or corrupted graphics drivers can cause display problems. Update your graphics drivers to the latest version from the HP website or using Device Manager.
- Perform a System Restore: If the issue started recently, you can try performing a System Restore to revert your system to a previous state when the display was working fine.
- Hardware Diagnostic Test: Run a hardware diagnostic test using the HP Support Assistant or BIOS to check for any hardware failures, such as a faulty graphics card or display panel.
- Reset BIOS Settings: Resetting the BIOS settings to default values can sometimes resolve display-related issues. Enter the BIOS setup during startup (usually by pressing F10 or Esc) and look for the option to reset to default settings.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
