Hi everyone, 
My barely used laptop is presenting with a black screen even when the power light is on. Sorry, I’m not sure about the product name, but this is the product ID-5KJ19UA. Any help would be appreciated!

Hi Whitney,

A couple of questions.

If you connect to external monitor/TV does the image appear on the screen?

Turn off the PC by holding the power button. turn on the PC and keep on pressing ESC until the Startup Menu appears. Does it appear?

Next, try a power reset. Remove the ac adapter and all "things" connected to the PC. Press and hole the power button for about 15-20 seconds. Try turning on the PC.

 

Is the notebook still under warranty?
