Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Have a HP Spectre x360 15" Convertible.

Was a work and when I picked up my laptop the screen went crazy and I had to hard reboot. After I tried the reboot would power on but blank screen. Caps Lock was also flashing 3 times long and 2 times short and fast.

I ended up having to open the laptop and rearrange the ram. This worked but after the first reboot I got the blank screen and flashing again.

I figured this must be an issue with the ram because rearranging them worked short term.

Went to computer store near me and replaced ram. Computer is running perfectly now.

I read through about 10 threads and tried everything this was the only thing that worked for me.

Hope it helps someone.

Yes, you need to replace the ram. It's probably faulty or one of the ram in one of the slots is faulty.

I just replaced both of mine and it's working great now.
