Hey,

I tried to update my Windows 7 and after that I got Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) with error code "iastor.sys" and "0x0000007e".

I thing my drivers must be too old since I havent updated my BIOS for a long time.

How can I update BIOS now? The BSOD keep showing up even I go in "Safe Mode" or other mode.

I tried to do it in BIOS with an USB drive but the system cannot find it.

My machine has serial number: CNU22908M2.

Please help & thanks alots.

@Peter-UM

Bluescreen failures (i.e., BSODs) are notoriously difficult to diagnose and to fix -- far beyond what WE typically can do in THIS self-help Community.

What you need is a forum where folks have vast experience troubleshooting, diagnosing, and suggesting repairs for BSODs, as follows:

The community Win7 forums has a section devoted to diagnosing BSODs. So, your best bet would be to post your problem there: https://www.sevenforums.com/bsod-help-support/

Good Luck
