Pavillion G6
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Installed windows 10 right off micorsoft website. Install went fine, no troubles. Once I restarted the computer after a clean install it goes right to blue screen instead of windows showing att all. When powering up the HP logo comes on. I have barely used this computer and bought it for only a back up. Which I only needed to use once for that. Though I would up grade in case I needed it in the future. Now I can not use it at all or get some picutures I backed up of my phone on to this computer. Can you help me please?

Hi

There are reports of recent BSOD's from the 1809 update and other things.

So you do not want to use the system recovery, as it may wipe the Hard Disk, but if you could boot from a DVD/USB and W8 Repair.png

choose to Repair your computer, much like the W8 screenshot, and choose

Recovery Reinstall.png

Command prompt, as in the next screenshot, and use the XCOPY command to copy from C:\users\????   to   E:\ or whatever letter the blank USB stick for the pictures would be.

C:\>xcopy /?
Copies files and directory trees.

ELSE Download and make a DVD/USB with Lubuntu on and then ask again.
