Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

So I have ran checks on all my hardware and even got a new hardrive but I still get random blue screens of death. I may be gaming, watching youtube, or writing on a word doc, and my laptop may randomly crash with blue screen. It happens too often to be normal. I need help!!! I have created system dump file to get information but i dont not understand the information. If i add a link can someone read it and help? or offer info.

I understand when you boot your PC you are getting a blue screen error on your PC.

 

Don't worry I'll try to help you out.

 

Did you make any software or hardware changes on your PC?

 

Please share the blue screen error on your PC to assist you better.

 

As you mentioned when you boot your PC you are getting a blue screen error 0xfffff802 on your PC.

 

First, try updating the BIOS on your PC and check if it helps.

 

Link to update the BIOS.

 

Try restoring the BIOS to default and check if it helps.

 

  1. Turn off the computer and wait five seconds.
  2. Press the Power button to start the computer and repeatedly press the F10 key to enter the BIOS setup menu.
  3. On the BIOS Setup screen, press F9 to select and load the BIOS Setup Default settings.
  4. Press F10 to Save and Exit.
  5. Use the arrow keys to select Yes, then press Enter when asked Exit Saving Changes?
  6. Follow the prompts to restart your computer.

Also, try performing a hard reset on your PC and check if it helps.


1.Turn off the computer.


2.Remove the computer from any port replicator or docking station.


3.Disconnect all external connected peripheral devices such as USB storage devices, external displays, and printers.


4.Unplug the AC adapter from the computer.


5.Remove the battery from the battery compartment.


6.Press and hold the Power button for 15 seconds to drain any residual electrical charge from the capacitors that protect the memory.


7.Insert the battery, and plug the AC adapter back into the notebook. Do not connect any peripheral devices.


8.Press the Power button to turn on the computer.


9.If a startup menu opens, use the arrow keys to select Start Windows Normally, then press the Enter key.
 

If you are able to boot into your PC after trying out the steps. Try updating other drivers using HP support assistant and check if it helps.

If the issue still persists try running a system diagnostics test on your PC and check if the hardware components on your PC is functioning correctly.

Mr. Robot, I downlaoded the bois link and it tiold me i had some major updates, ill let you know if this fixes the problem. If it does i will try out your other provided steps. Thank you very much!
