Hi
I have a Logitech M585 Mouse with a USB dongle and it is also Bluetooth-enabled.
However, it only seems to work with the dongle plugged in.
So, I'm not sure if this is a laptop or mouse issue.
Shouldn't I be able to disconnect the dongle and use the mouse via Bluetooth?
When the dongle is plugged in, the mouse shows up as a connected device in the Bluetooth & Other Devices settings
"Logitech Unifying Device"
Unplugging it, the device is no longer listed.
Thanks for any advice
Andrew

Hi @Andrewjmarino,
Welcome to HP Forums, this is a great place to get support, find answers and tips.
Thank you for posting your query. I'll be more than glad to help you.
I understand that you wanted to know if you can disconnect the dongle from the computer and still use the mouse via Bluetooth.
The Bluetooth dongle is a must else the Bluetooth mouse will not be able to communicate with the computer. This is because the dongle is the unifying receiver for the signals from the mouse.
Let me know if this works.
You have a good day ahead.
