Can you provide the exact model or the product ID of your system?
Can you post the name (or the URL of the driver or drivers that you tried?
Bring up the device manager and scan for hardware changes. See if your device shows up

Look also for errors that are red or yellow. If they are by the device then the driver cannot be found.
Try showing hidden devices.

if the device is unknown to windows then this article might be useful.
Look several other places for the device. Look for unknown, other and even in the USB list.
