Microsoft Windows 11

Hi. I have been facing Bluetooth connectivity issue lately on my Windows 11. It doesn't connect to bluetooth devices such as headphones, unless I uninstall the bluetooth drivers and restart for auto reinstallation. Sometimes when it connects, the voice cracks a lot. That too works for a day or so and once disconnected again the same issue pops up. How do I solve this? It's so irritating each time.

Hi @Shanky210297,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

Thanks for the detailed explanation—this kind of Bluetooth issue on Windows 11 is unfortunately not common, especially on laptops like the HP Pavilion Aero 13. The fact that it only works after uninstalling and reinstalling the driver suggests a driver conflictpower management issue, or Windows update interference.

Step-by-Step Fixes to Try

1. Update Bluetooth and Wi-Fi Drivers (Manually)

HP laptops often use Realtek or MediaTek Bluetooth chips. Here's how to update:

  • Go to HP Drivers & Software for your model.
  • Download and install the latest Bluetooth and Wi-Fi drivers.
  • Restart your laptop.

⚠️ Bluetooth and Wi-Fi often share the same chip, so updating both is important.

2. Disable Power Saving for Bluetooth

  • Press Windows + X > Device Manager.
  • Expand Bluetooth, right-click your Bluetooth adapter > Properties.
  • Go to the Power Management tab.
  • Uncheck “Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power”.

3. Run Bluetooth Troubleshooter

  • Go to Settings > System > Troubleshoot > Other troubleshooters.
  • Run the Bluetooth troubleshooter.

4. Check for Windows Updates

  • Go to Settings > Windows Update and install all pending updates.
  • Sometimes, optional updates include driver fixes.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
