I was working on my laptop with my bluetooth earphones ON. Suddenly they disconnected. When I went to the settings, it no longer shows the button to turn on/off the bluetooth. In device manager, it doesn't show-up unless I click on Show Hidden Items. Help me with this.
Same thing happened with my webcam. Its not working as well anymore. Is my laptop going to stop working part by part? This started happening a few months after my Warranty period ended

Hi @PushanPatel,
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your laptop!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
Try these steps:
1. Update Drivers
Bluetooth Driver:
- Open the Device Manager.
- Click on "View" and select "Show Hidden Devices".
- Find your Bluetooth device, right-click on it and select "Update driver".
- Choose "Search automatically for updated driver software".
Webcam Driver:
- Follow similar steps in the Device Manager to locate your webcam.
- Right-click on it and select "Update driver".
2. Use HP Support Assistant
HP Support Assistant can help you keep your laptop up-to-date and resolve hardware issues.
- Download and install HP Support Assistant.
- Use it to check for driver updates and any other necessary updates.
3. Run Windows Troubleshooter
- Go to Settings > Update & Security > Troubleshoot.
- Select "Additional troubleshooters".
- Run the troubleshooters for both "Bluetooth" and "Camera".
4. Check BIOS Settings
Sometimes, hardware can be disabled from the BIOS.
- Restart your laptop and enter the BIOS setup (usually by pressing Esc or F10 during startup).
- Ensure that Bluetooth and webcam are enabled in the BIOS.
5. Hardware Check
- Ensure your hardware is properly connected. For internal components like Bluetooth and the webcam, this usually means they are properly seated if accessible.
6. Reinstall Device
- In Device Manager, right-click the hidden device (Bluetooth or webcam) and select "Uninstall device".
- Restart your computer, and Windows should automatically reinstall the device.
I hope this helps.
