Hi! Bought a new HP mouse (HP mouse X1000 - product H2C21AA) which connects with USB and when I connect it to my Pavilion USB port, the computer does anything, it does not recognize that I connect a device, it does not recognize the mouse.
What should I do?
Thanks

First, I though the DV6s came with Win7 preinstalled, not Vista.
Second, they have at least two USB ports -- so try all the ports and see if there is any difference.
Third, with the old mouse still connected, boot into Windows and after you get to the desktop, THEN plugin the new mouse. Windows should see it and install any drivers needed.
