Product: HP ProBook 470 G3 Notebook PC (ENERGY STAR)
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

The screen brightness cannot be changed by the function keys. The corresponding driver (Hotkey support) cannot be found on the HP support site. What can be done ?

Hi:

 

The Hotkey support software from the Probook 450 G3 should work for your notebook.

 

Driver - HP ProBook 450 G3 Notebook PC | HP® Customer Support

 

The 450 G3 has the 15.6" display.  That is basically the only difference.

Thank you for your response. Unfortunately the driver for Probook 450G3 doesn't work. I get always as before the little Hotkey Support Windows when I press Fn+F5 or Fn+F6 (See photo). I wonder why the Hotkey support driver is not available for the Probook 470 G3.

Sorry that version of the driver didn't work for you.

 

Unfortunately, I wouldn't know why HP doesn't have the driver on your notebook's support page.
