Victus by HP 15.6 inch Gaming Laptop

I bought an HP Victus 15.6 inch Gaming Laptop in January 2024 and after 3 or 4 months it's showing an issue with brightness. I contacted Microsoft support because I thought it was a Windows issue, they tried everything but nothing worked so they said it's a Device issue so contact your HP Support centre, Then I contacted HP Support but they tried the same thing but nothing worked and then they said you need to reset your device so arrange a 32 GB pen drive and make it bootable pen drive then we will start the process I did everything but after resetting my laptop when I checked my brightness level...it's still not working...So what can I do now to change my brightness level even though the brightness wheel is moving? Please Help

There are three other possible solutions you can try: 

  • adjusting the display brightness in the battery settings
  • update the drivers 
  • check the BIOS
