The browsers on my laptop are closing automatically on their own. I have tried several troubleshooting steps, including updating to the latest browser versions, clearing cache and temporary files, and resetting browser settings to default. However, the issue still persists across all browsers, including Edge and Chrome.

Hi @CodeWithSunny,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding browser issues!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Try these steps:

Check for System Updates: Ensure that your Windows operating system is fully up-to-date. Sometimes, outdated system software can lead to unexpected behavior in applications.

Scan for Malware: Use Windows Security, which is pre-installed on HP laptops, to run a full scan for malware and viruses. Make sure that all network firewalls are enabled.

Update Network Drivers: Visit the HP Customer Support - Software and Driver Downloads page to check for any updates specifically for network drivers, as connectivity issues might cause browsers to behave unpredictably.

Disable Software at Startup: Use System Configuration (Msconfig) in Windows to prevent unnecessary software from opening at startup, which could interfere with browser operation.

Check Internet Connection Stability: Use the Network Speed Test app available in the Microsoft Store to ensure your internet connection is stable and not dropping, which might cause browsers to close unexpectedly.

Restore System to a Previous Point: If possible, use Windows System Restore to revert your system to a point where browsers were functioning correctly.
