Reinstalled HP support assistant, but after a battery check it says it still needs to calibrate. when i charged this laptop, it said it was 1 minute to full charge (98%) when my cursor hovered over it, but there was a white light (which shows its fully charged).

Le's a run a component test and check-
Component test:
1) Turn off the Computer(if not able to turn it off from Windows- Hold the power button for at least five seconds to turn off the computer).
2) Turn on the computer and immediately press Esc repeatedly, about once every second. When the menu appears, press the F2 key.
3) On the main menu, click Component Tests.
4) The Component Tests menu displays. Your Component Tests menu might be different, depending on the components installed on your computer.
5) Click on the battery test and then click Run once.

Generally around 4 hours, provided i am watching videos. This is an estimation, I don't exactly know how much it lasts, but if you want me to I can find out.
A more accurate representation, when I do the step to drain my battery during calibration (component tests>memory>loop until error) it lasts 2 hours.
