I have two Plantronics headsets (Voyager 5200 and B825) and both are experiencing the same issue on my new company-issued Elitebook 840 G8. On my softphone software (Cisco Jabber) when an incoming call arrives, my headset's call control button does not answer the call. Likewise, when I'm on a call, the call control button does not hang up the call. The call control button on my headsets work when connected to my iPhone, as well as when connected to my Lenovo Thinkpad laptop, which is also using Windows 10 Enterprise.
If I manually click the 'answer' button on my softphone, I can hear and speak fine using the headset; it is only the call control features that are not working.
Jabber is set to all of my default telephony protocalls (that I'm aware of) and I've even installed the Plantronics Hub software hoping it would help, but regardless of device or software settings, nothing on my G8 will allow my call control button to answer or hang up a call. I've updated firmware on both my headsets and their USB dongles and tried to update every driver that seemed related in the Device Manager, but they all appear to be updated.
Has anyone experienced anything like this, and if so, found a solution?
