Can I reload Office for free after reloading Windows?

I bought an HP Envy 360x laptop in 2019. It came preloaded with Office. After Windows was reloaded (a couple of times), I noticed that Office was no longer on my computer. Is there any way I can get it back? I don't have any Office serial numbers or anything like that.  My AI assistant tells me to contact HP, but there does not seem to be an obvious channel to do this.

"Microsoft Office" is now called (and known as) "Microsoft 365" for both purchased and subscriptions models of the product.

What to do?

- Contact Microsoft -

If the original Office Software that came installed on the system was other than a mere Trial version AND if you ever used that licensed software, then Microsoft has a record of your having done so.

What else?

There are "free" online only versions of some of the Office programs -- check with Microsoft.

There are alternatives to Office -- "Life without Office" is certainly possibly --
