I just bought this 2 in 1 laptop, HP ENVY X360 amd one of the deciding factors was that the sales persona advised that I could also plug my work laptop in and use this computer as a porta in purchasble monitor

I tried this & in most situations  it would work, except if you work in a big Corporation with strict firewalls & permissions. Unfortunately, this won't work for my needs & the only thing they'll allow is a standard or portable Monitor only.
