Can not update Windows 10 from Ver 1909. Been trying for years, Have tried everything that I can find on the internet. No Luck

Sorry to hear that you are having problems ... and I would like to help you.

 

Your Windows version is too old and cannot be updated !

 

(1) Back up <all> personal data (documents/pictures/videos etc...) to external USB hard drive

 

(2) Reinstall Windows 10

 

You need to prepare <usb flash drive>

 

Use the official Microsoft method:

https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10ISO

 

After installation is done, download and install HP drivers

https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers

Did as you requested yesterday. Upgraded HP PC Hardware Diagnostics (UEFI) to Ver 8.7.1.0 and tested the system and components into the early morning hours. Everything passed.

(1) Reinstall Windows 10

You need to prepare <usb flash drive>. Please create 2 <usb flash drives> to test.

- USB flash drive type 2.0

- USB flash drive type 3.0

(2) You need to boot from <USB flash drive> to start installation

(2-1) Insert <USB flash drive>

(2-2Enter BIOS

Turn off computer and wait five seconds

Turn on computer, and then immediately press [ESC] key repeatedly until the Startup Menu opens

Press [F9] to open <Boot Device Options>

(2-3) Select <USB drive> drive in <Boot Option Menu> and press ENTER
