I am having issues where I can no longer update drivers under HP assistant. It gives me a message stating that I must log into my account to install the software, even though it shows me being logged into my HP account. I have actually logged out, and logged back in hoping it would fix the problem, but it doesn't accomplish anything. Since it is an audio driver update, it is needed to remove some issues with at least on piece of software I run. Any thoughts and suggestions would be welcome.

Sincerely,

      Mark

@TirIndlis,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

I recommend you uninstall HP support assistant and then download and install it from the below link.

Here is how it is done.

  2. On the Programs and Features window, select HP Support Assistant, then click Uninstall. ...
  3. Click Yes on the Programs and Features screen to confirm you want to uninstall HP Support Assistant. ...
  4. Restart your computer to complete the process.

I guess I can try that. If all else fails in regards to the software I can do a factory install. Thanks for the reply.
