I am planning to install 240 gb nvme ssd in my laptop but i have a question that my laptop is HP i3 6 generation 

So please enlighten me wether nvme 240 gb ssd will work on 6 generation or not please it urgent

In order for anyone to answer your question, we would need to know the full model number or product number of your notebook.

Generally, most HP notebooks with the Intel 6th generation core processors do not support NVMe SSD's assuming that they even have a M.2 SSD slot, which most of them do not.
