I recently changed my PC OS to windows 7 professional I noticed that I can't use my USB and Internet to even update the drivers only CD ROM works presently I have downloaded several drivers all to no avail

Hi:

For the USB, download and install the AMD chipset driver from the link below, and restart the PC.

Select the W10/W7 x64 driver.

Ethernet:  Download, unzip and run the setup application from the W7 driver at the link below...

Wifi:  There can be one of several wifi adapters HP could have installed in your notebook.

 

Go to the device manager.  When the wifi driver is missing, there will be a device listed in the device manager labeled as a Network Controller.

 

Please post the hardware ID for the network controller so I can figure out what model it is, and what driver it needs.
