Microsoft Windows 11

Hello,

I have some problem with the HP account. On my HP smart software on Windows 11 there is an msg saying "Check your account". When sign in through a web browser and  check it - there is no problem.

Second: My wireless connection stopped working. So I reset my printers and try to connect it again trough my application on my smartphone. It is almost done, but when i get a screen with msg "register device" - got an error msg, and says contact HP.

When i sign in to my HP account and try to reach HP support, the system find my location got a phone number. I called, and the guy says "Sorry but we are working only with business clients", and HE says just send an email to HP. I asked him to give me an email and there was no answer.

How can I contact HP, can some one help.

Hi @Georgi_Be,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I understand the frustration of dealing with both account and wireless printer issues, especially when it’s challenging to get in touch with support. Here’s a step-by-step guide to help you address the issues with your HP account and wireless printer connection:

1. Resolve HP Account Issues

1.1. Clear Browser Cache and Cookies

  • Clear Cache/Cookies: Sometimes clearing your browser's cache and cookies can resolve sign-in issues.
    • Google Chrome: Settings > Privacy and Security > Clear browsing data.
    • Firefox: Settings > Privacy & Security > Cookies and Site Data > Clear Data.

1.2. Try Different Browsers or Devices

  • Switch Browsers: Try signing in using a different web browser (e.g., Chrome, Firefox, Edge).
  • Use a Different Device: Attempt to access your HP account from a different device.

1.3. Reset Your Password

  • Password Reset: If you suspect a password issue, go to the HP Account Password Reset page and follow the instructions to reset your password.

1.4. Check HP’s Account Help Page

  • HP Support Page: Visit the HP Support Account Page for troubleshooting tips related to account issues.

2. Fix Wireless Printer Connection Issues

2.1. Reset the Printer Network Settings

  • Printer Settings: On the printer’s control panel, navigate to the network settings and select the option to reset network settings or Wi-Fi setup.

2.2. Reconnect the Printer to Wi-Fi

  • Wi-Fi Setup: Use the printer’s control panel to reconnect to your Wi-Fi network.
    • HP Smart App: On your smartphone, open the HP Smart app and select “Set Up a New Printer” or “Add Printer,” then follow the prompts to reconnect.

2.3. Ensure Printer and Router Compatibility

  • Check Settings: Ensure your printer is within range of your router and that there are no network restrictions (e.g., MAC address filtering) affecting the connection.

2.4. Update Printer Firmware

  • Firmware Update: Check if there’s a firmware update available for your printer on the HP Support website and follow the instructions to update it.

2.5. Troubleshoot Network Issues

  • Network Reset: Restart your router and modem to ensure there are no network issues affecting the printer connection.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.

Hello Rachel571, again

So There is something verry wrong.

I try everything you said. IT didn't work!

Still I have that msg: Check you account.....

It is interesting, that when I turn on the printer its Wi FI exclamation mark is blinking. When I put the usb cable direct to may laptop the exclamation mark stops blinking. And if I check my printers thru my HP smart   it seem my printer is connected to WI FI and have internet and everything is OK.

If i restart the computer and the printer - its same again. Wi fi exclamation mark is blinking again.

I checked my HP account - everything is OK. There is some msg about updates. I try to update the printer but no way. I got some msg that i cant register the printer to my account, but i already have register it.

Third problem: when I try to reset da WI FI, i got to a msg that again cant register the printer.

I am sending a picture of the Error - it is said - contact HP.

I am from Bulgaria, so the HP Easy Start is in Bulgarian. But I think you will find the Error code.

SO I need to contact HP. PLEASE HELP
