I have an old laptop from 2017 that runs on a i5 8250u. I was hoping to download Vulkan 1.2 from the Intel website but am unable to because my device is locked by manufacturer specifications. The drivers available to this device from the HP website do not include Vulkan, which is strange because I had Vulkan Runtime Library installed previously. It was probably a required download for a steam game I played years ago. Is it even possible for me to download it? If yes, how could I do that?

 

Also, my system information has my laptop's model as HP 15 cc1xx. The Intel website also detected it as that model number. I don't know if that makes any difference.
