I want to install drivers for my laptop, but I can't download drivers from HP's website.
When I click on "Choose a different OS", nothing happens. Also when I click on "Try manually selecting your operating system", nothing happens.
I don't understand how can I download necessary drivers?
Here is the link to the drivers page: https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/compaq-presario-cq61-300-notebook-pc-series/3938633

Hi:
HP retired support for your notebook since it is more than 10 years old.
That is why the driver page isn't working.
If you can give me some specs on the notebook, I can probably find some drivers for you to install.
I also need the hardware ID for the device listed in the device manager labeled as a Network Controller.
That is what Windows names the wifi adapter when it needs a driver.
Use this guide for how to find the hardware ID for a device...

That way I can give you the wifi driver which will make it easier for you to download and install the rest of them.
