Welcome to HP Forums,

This is a great place to get support, find answers and tips,

Thank you for posting your query, I'll be more than glad to help you out 🙂

As I understand you can't download Kodi on your HP Chromebook,

No worries, as I'll be glad to help you, that said, I'll need a few more details to dissect your concern & provide an accurate solution:

Did you check if the app is compatible with your product?

If you have received the message-"The device didn't/doesn't support the program", I'm afraid it means that you cannot install it.

I also checked a few YouTube videos regarding the installation of the Kodi media player on Chromebook but they involve installing 3rd party applications, changing the OS to Linux among others and none of this is supported or recommended by HP, however, you may do this at your own discretion.

Keep me posted for further assistance 😉

I have a HP chromebook os 14 intel celeron proccessor that im having trouble installing kodi on it never shows any message of saying that my receive is not compatible but my husband check the web and said that our computer would be able to install kodi since it is older than the 53 models, I think.. I would like some insight about your opinion with the chromebook that I have. Also I have been having trouble operating the Google play store through the app. It only let me use it on the web but it hasn't allowed me to download an app from the Google store
