You're very welcome.

If that one didn't work, use the newer version.

Some of the older versions have issues with the newer builds of W10.

To download a driver from the ftp site you have to use Internet explorer or Edge in Internet explorer mode.

It is a PITA.

I don't work for or represent HP, so I can't answer your 3rd question.
