Also vet stuck having to use fingers when I want to use keyboard.

I was able to do a hardware reset and now things work correctly. Whew!
Turn off laptop amd unplug. Hold down power button for 15 seconds. Then plug back in and start up. Appears to clear false settings.

Another faster way to fix this problem is to flip it back to computer mode (even if it is still in tablet mode) and then restart it. The computer will be in regular mode when it turns back on. This problem might have been caused if you had turned the computer off in tablet mode without switching back to regular.
