Long story short I bought an HP ProBook 650 G1 for an insane price, I got everything working/upgraded but I cannot seem to get the finger print reader to work. I tried some drivers I found but those did nothing. If anyone can help get this reader to work, that would be greatly appreciated.
Also, do all ProBook G1s have the finger print reader installed in them from the factory or is this feature an option? Asking this because I cannot tell if my device actually has the reader or its just a plastic tab covering up the space for the optional reader.

Did you buy machine with Finger Print option ? Not all machines have this options, they only have a window for it but no sensor/reader underneath.
Regards.

Hi, I forgot to mention before that I bought this laptop used from someone I dont know. I do not know which laptop options were chosen when it was purchased. Is there a way I can check if my laptop has the reader without taking the machine apart?
